When I design a logo I first want to get a feel for the clients visual style and show them some inspiration to get a feel for what they like. In this case, I knew they had been presented with some logo designs they did not like. At that point the client also decided to do a name change to her business.

So next I went to look for some logos in her industry to see what branding was out there and what she liked.

And this is the feedback I got.

Then I presented the client with some font inspiration to see what she liked. I asked her to rank each font sample.

Then I used that information to create logo concepts to present to her.

After saying she liked them all, she finally decided on the first one and we then went into the process of finding just the right color teal.
